ABC of Louisiana Members:

We hope you, your colleagues, and your loved ones are remaining healthy and safe. Even before these unprecedented times, “safety first, last, always” has been a mantra of Associated Builders and Contractors.  Our focus on safety is unwavering, especially in these times of uncertainty.

Safety is why we are writing you today.

The Board of Directors of ABC of Louisiana, with input from the state convention planning committee, has made the tough decision to cancel the July 2020 ABC-LA State Convention at the Hilton Sandestin. With the global coronavirus pandemic and restrictions on gatherings and travel, the Board decided it is in the best interest of our association and its members’ safety to not hold our annual state convention this year.

Please review the following information if you had planned on participating in our state convention:

·      Refunds will be issued for registrations and sponsorships.

·      If you booked a room at the Hilton Sandestin via ABC’s room block , your reservation will automatically be canceled unless you indicate otherwise to ABC staff by April 24 th.  ABC staff will contact individuals with reservations in the room block directly with more details.

·      If you booked a room outside of ABC’s room block , you must cancel your own reservation.

The ABC of Louisiana Board of Directors, committee and staff look forward to celebrating the Merit Shop Construction Industry at our state convention in 2021.

For the Merit Shop,

David Helveston, President, ABC Pelican

Jeb Bruneau, President, ABC New Orleans/Bayou
